DISADVANTAGED children in Eastern Europe will receive a boxes of Christmas cheer this year, thanks to personnel from RAF Cranwell.
Flight Lieutenant Ben Greet, of 55 (R) Squadron, replica clothing helped collect 277 shoeboxes for this year's Operation Christmas Child.
He said: "The support from both service and civilian personnel has been fantastic.

embroidered patches "Thanks to everyone at Cranwell and to the shoe shops in Sleaford for kindly donating the boxes. In a few weeks time the boxes will be on their way across Europe and everyone at RAF Cranwell hopes they will bring a smile to a lot of underprivileged children."
